Well, I've finally got the 5th Civil District of the 1870 census finished and uploaded. http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnwayne/1870/district5.htm and am about half-way through District 6. Hopefully I can finish it by the first week in March. I've updated the queries, added a whole new section on Wayne County, Tennessee Newspapers, added a couple of pictures to the Friends and Family page and one new group to the School Days page. I've got a whole bunch of school photographs to add as soon as I can get them scanned and the pages edited. Hopefully nest week sometime. Then I'm going to be going through my newspaper files from the 60's and pulling school group and family photographs. If you've sent something to be added to the page and it's not yet uploaded, please give me a little more time. I'm working through all the mail that's come in and am doing the pages as fast as I can. I've recovered from the broken wrist, but notice that my typing is a little slower (lots of mistakes because my right hand doesn't want to find the correct place on the keyboard). But I'm working on that. I figure I'll get plenty of exercise doing the next section of the Circuit Court Minutes (if I don't exhume ol' man McDougal and hang him before then - some of the worst handwriting I've seen in some time.). Please note that the 15th Annual Family History Fair will be the 12th of July 2003. The information about the fair and the table reservation forms are posted! More updates coming soon! Edgar
