Thank you all! This is such a nice list! Everyone seems so helpful! I am stuck trying to find my ancestor, Alexander M GILLIAM b abt 1840? in TN. He appears in the 1880 Henderson Co, TN, census but I cannot find him in 1850, 1860, or 1870. He HAS to be somewhere! I am interested in this A M GILHAM that is in the 1870 Wayne Co, Tn, census, but I see that he is not there in 1860, therefore, I'm wondering where this guy was in 1860. ....maybe in a neighboring county??? That is why I'm asking about the nearby counties.
