I've added several more obituaries to the obituaries page and another picture to the School Days page. I've been clipping obituaries for Wayne County natives since 1966. I'll be posting all those obituaries are I have time. If you have an obituary you'd like to contribute, go the Obituaries page at http://www.netease.net/wayne/obituaries.htm and click on "Submit An Obituary" A create mail or new message window will pop up and all you will need to do is type (or paste) the obituary into the message block, and send the message. The message will be addressed to me and will already have a subject "Wayne County Obituary". As I receive the messages I will post the obituaries to the page. Obituaries of Wayne County, Tennessee citizens or natives (regardless of where they died or were living when they died) and regardless of the date of the obituary, will be posted. The only limitation is that there must be a connection to Wayne County, Tennessee. Please copy the obituary exactly as it appears in the original regardless of spelling or gramatical errors. If you know of a spelling error, please indicate that error with the use of [sic] following the error. Please include any notes regarding the obituary in parentheses ( ). Please include the name of the newspaper or publication in which the obituary was published (if known) and the date and page of the publication (where known) If you have access to original or microform copies of newspapers from this area (including Nashville, TN newspapers) and are interested in transcribing any obituary of a Wayne County, TN citizen or native, please accept my invitation to do so!
