    1. [TNWAYNE] Major additions to Wayne County, Tennessee page

    3. Fantastic new additions to the Wayne County, Tennessee Genealogy and History page this week. Thanks to Gerald K. Moore, we have posted the complete listings from the following for Wayne County, Tennessee http://www.netease.net/wayne/census.htm 1860 Census of Manufactures (the manufacturer's schedule from the 1860 census) 1860 Census of Agriculture (the agricultural schedule from the 1860 census) 1870 Census of Agriculture (the agricultural schedule from the 1870 census). These three files represent hours of transcription and are some of the most fascinating information available. From the agricultural files, learn how many horses and mules an ancestor owned; what money crops he raised and how much he/she got them them. Did he raise cotton or tobacco? Very special thanks to Gerald K. Moore for sharing this information with us. Also read his analysis that begins each of these schedules. Very interesting reading. I've also finishing adding the rest of the obituary clippings from my short envelope file. These represent only a few of the obituaries to be added. Have Fun! Edgar Edgar D. 3. Allow me to add my vote of appreciation for the work added by Gerald K. Moore Knowing the effort required to transcribe just the entries for my own ancestors, I have great admiration for anyone who has the ability and endurance to tackle a whole census. And the analysis is great, and educational goldmine. Thank you. Marcia ----- Original Message ----- From: "Edgar D.
