Some time ago, several people wrote me wondering what had happened to the biographies that had been posted to the old Genconnect boards. To answer that question, I don't know. But I have been giving the idea some thought. We do have a Biographies page up at http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnwayne/biographies.htm and I do have an invitation on that page to send/post a biography. So far the only things I have posted are the biographies from Goodspeed's 1887 History of Tennessee (Wayne County section); the Wayne County, Tennessee World War I Veterans' Biographies and a 1922 newspaper article about Charles "Uncle Charlie" M. Thompson's visit to Memphis. I'd like to expand what we have up on the Biographies page, so am inviting you all to think about submitting a biography on an ancestor, relative, or acquaintance who either was born, lived or died in Wayne County, Tennessee. Please submit your biographies in prose. Remember those wonderful times in high school English class writing papers and do your thing on the bioigraphy. I will not be editing these biographies except with the spell checker, so what you submit will be what you see on the page! Remember that! Edgar
