Am looking for information regarding the David Carter and Elizabeth Walker Carter families that came from NC early in 1810's. They probably married in TN and had several children including Mary Jane Carter who married Alfred Young Lothlin (name mispelled from Laughlin?) about 1838. His mother was in Wayne Co and remarried after his father died--perhaps her name was Kisner. AY came to TX in 1831, back to TN in 1836/37 and married Mary Jane then 2 or 3 kids later moved back to TX. Any infromation on the TN family would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jan Jordan
