Hi list, Would like to learn more about the following folks: 1916 H. E. Wortham bought from J. D. McGee and wife C. C. McGee of Lauderdale, AL land located in Wayne County, TN in Dist. # 5, Range 11, Sec 1 and 2 on the Grassy Fork of Second Creek 200 acres. He paid $700. This land touched the lands of J. A. Lacefield and P. Hutton. 1919 In September of 1919 H. E. Wartham and wife Annie (aka A.E.) sold 20 acres of this land to Denis Johnson for $125, located in District #5 Range 11 Section 1 and 2 on the waters of Grassy Creek located next to land known as the John McGee land. If I understand the deed correctly, H. E. and Annie Wartham signed those papers in Sumter County, AL the town of Pa-oba, AL 1921 and it was not filed until 1930 H. W. Wortham also sold 180 acres of that land to J. W. Reed for $1000; Nov 3, 1919 Would like to know more about H. E. and Annie Wortham. Thanks, Barbara
