I've got a question to pose to you all and need your input. I've posted the photographs which were made of the construction of the chemical plant at Collinwood in 1918. In the process of researching the Tennessee Valley Iron and Railroad Company and the building of the plant, I have learned that there were also motion pictures made of the project. Contact with the National Archives has not yet yielded any information about the film, or any information about it or the other construction photos. Do any of you have any idea where we might find either the negative or a print of the "motion pictures" which was made in 1918 of the construction of the plant?? Anyone on the list live in the Washington DC area and have time to do a little "digging" at NARA? What about anyone living in the Montgomery Alabama area who might have access to Maxwell Air Force Base and the Air Force Library? The History of the Bureau of Aeroplane Manufacture is on file at the library at Maxwell but I've not had time to pay the place a visit. If you have any suggestions or would be willing to do a little "free" research, please let me know. edgar
