It is my loss that I did not take the time to communicate with Mr. Stooksberry concerning my Daniel family history. To those concerned please accept condolences from the Daniel family. I believe that he may have had information concerning my 2nd Great Grand parents John Daniel and Nancy Holmes. Their children Calvin M.+ Nancy Jane Brewer, Nancy Lillian Daniel-Sain, Elizabeth Catharine Daniel-Simmons, William Green, James Madison, Mary Elizabeth Daniel-McShann, Lucinda Daniel-Watts & John Buckley (Buck) Daniel were born in Wayne County iaw census and other records,however to date I cannot locate this family prior to 1847 when they are found in Old Tishomingo County MS near Baldwyn. I know there are many of John Calvin's descendants married with Stooksberry's in Wayne County and that my Great grandfather's wife Mary Ann (Molly) Ball specifically requested that a Reverend Stooksberry preach her funeral in Cleveland County Oklahoma Territory in Feb 1900.
