I believe the John Hill in question was married to Obedience Cullum. Gresham was a son of the above couple and if you find a marriage I will be happy as a big puzzle for us. Believe he died between 1820 and 1830 but perhaps he started using another name. James might be the James of my family who married Delilah Gore in 1812 in Franklin, Williamson Co., Tennessee. I reallly don't know where he was in 1820 and I have also never found him after his marriage. Abel Hill I don't have any idea who is as not my direct line.
