Gladys,. Madaline Replogle Raymond did not know very much about the Duckworth family. I searched all the records that I could find in Lawrence, Wayne, Maury and Hardin County and she included most of them. We found some other people who knew they had a Duckworth ancestor but not much documentation. I have one of Madeline's books and there is one at the library in Waynesboro. I know a DR Duckworth in this area, who is the Duckwort family expert, but he can't place our John either. I think it is a hopeless case unless someone has some family papers that I do not know about. Spend your efforts on the Churchwell and Turnbow families. There are still a lot of descendants that we do not have and probably will never get. Everybody thinks Linda Weldon's book is accurate but there are so many errors about our family that the mistakes my never be corrected. Jean
