This is to remind you all about the 15th Annual Wayne County Family History Fair will take place this Saturday, July 12, at the Collinwood Middle School in Collinwood. Hours for the fair are 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Vendors or individuals with reserved tables may set up between 8:00 and 9:00 if they desire. Right now, we have 22 tables reserved so I believe there is going to be lots of information for those who are seriously researching their family history as well as for those who are just beginning their search. I have stopped reserving tables at this time in order to prepare the Fair Directory but if you can come to the fair and haven't reserved a table there will be areas for you to set up to do research or to visit with Wayne County friends. We do not "charge" admission to the fair but kindly ask everyone to donate $1.00 to help us pay for the use of the building. We have to pay a school custodian to work that day. If you need directions or have questions about the Fair, please email me. Also, remember there are going to be great concessions again this year so you will not have to leave the fair to drive to a restaurant for lunch. The ladies who have been doing the refreshments for the past several years will be there again this year with their delicious "fried pies" and hot coffee for those who come early. They they will have homemade hamburgers and also beans, onions and cornbread plates again this year which has been a favorite during past fairs.
