I want to thank all of you who took the time to check the page to see if there were any problems accessing it. Looks like it may have been a temporary thing; probably a router out somewhere. Everyone wrote to say that they had had no problems accessing the main page or any of the subpages. And thanks, too, to all of you who wrote with your glowing comments! Now I'll get the "big head" for certain <grin>. Just remember that the Wayne County Tennessee Genealogy and History page is a collaborative effort on the part of many of you on this list and others who have donated their time. So a big THANK YOU to all. Happy hunting. Edgar Edgar D. Hi all - I know you haven't heard much from me in a long time. First of all one of my children died in May and I've been having a really hard time accepting this. He was 29 years old and his daughter is only 5. With God's help and our close family and faith we'll be able to go forward. At least I do know that he is in a better place and it makes me look forward to going there more and more. Second I've had to move the Horton Surname Resource Center because the server I was using went out of business. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find one that has no banners so I apologize for the big banner at the top of the pages. Please visit the site and begin submitting information to me again. I have only updated the main page as far as email addresses - my new email address is [email protected] I changed because I now have cable modem and love it. It's sooo fast. So Edgar - please change my website and email address on the Wayne County page if you haven't already. The new URL is: http://horton.0catch.com Thanks all Ola Horton Cates Humboldt, TN Researching in Wayne County: Atkinson, Cromwell, Horton and Lindsey and any associated surnames. I'll have my personal site up again soon - will let you know when.
Hi Edgar, Everything is fine in Illinois. I would like to tell you how beautiful the harvest decorations are on the page. I appreciate it and know others do too. We are thankful for this bounty. May God Bless America. Dorothy Jane Prater Embry
I use AOL and I have no problem going to the web page.
I haven't had any problems accessing the Wayne County Web site. Looks good to me. Edie Wood
I have AOL and just accessed the site and everything worked fine. Maybe the server was just busy when they tried. That can be frustrating.
