Oh goodness, I'm on the wrong computer so let's see how many I can remember off the top of my head, LOL. I believe all of these lines were in Washington County prior to 1800 (or shortly thereafter). Notation (where I suspect a family first moved to Wash. Co.) is: Husband surname/Wife surname. Brown/Gordon, Taylor/Wilson, Templin, Harris/Crampton, Miller (2 separate lines), Kelly, Bayless/Nodding, Campbell/Snyder, Jones/Nelson, Ragan/Harrison, Bowman/Steele, Range, Hoss/Bohne, Parks/White, (later Unicoi) Erwin/Tilson, (later Unicoi) Mauk/Heiser, Early Washington/Greene County: Seaton/Bird, Green/Messer, Mauk, Broyles, I'm sure I missed a few. These are the lines that I've traced back to at least 1780 or so. There may be others (I was supremely lucky that many of my lines were in TN prior to statehood and that my direct lines stayed in upper East TN until my parents moved.) Happy researching! Sherry

    3. Sherry, Do either your Templin or Broyles line tie into the Stanton/Staunton line from Washington County, TN around 1849?
