Hi, Everyone, This is not one of my family members, but I got this message from a Washington County researcher and offered to forward it to the list. I'm sure the newspaper in question would be the Herald & Tribune, but I don't know where he may be able to get a lookup. If anyone can answer Ken's questions, please e-mail him directly at usafvet1@comcast.net. Thanks, Pat Sabin. ******** His name was James C. Bass b. Jan 24, 1831 N.C. wife Dorothy Morgan Bass, second wife was Dorothy's sister, Martha Morgan Workman Bass. James was a Christian Minister although he did preach at some Baptist Churches.
