I have sent this to a couple of lists in TN already; but am re-sending it in hopes that someone new is on the line now. I am trying to find information about my great-great-grandparents; Baker Reace and his wife, Sarah Bills Reece. They were married in Weakley Co., in 1868. Baker was born in abt 1835 and died in abt 1874. They had three sons: James Percy L. Reece; William Franklin D. Reece; and my great-grandfather, Paley Baker Bryan Reece. Baker died when the tree he was topping fell on him. I do not know if this happened in TN or in MO; for Sarah and the boys were in Taney Co., MO in 1876, when she married Robert Payne Austin. I would like to find out for sure where the boys were born; where Baker was born, if his full name was also Paley Baker Reece; and where he died & is buried. Basically, anything anyone can help me with from Census, wills, marriage records, death records, cemetery records, etc.; and even newspaper articles will be greatly appreciated. If you are a person who has already tried to help me, as a couple in Weakley Co. have, etc.; thank you very much again & sorry to be a pain! If anyone knows anything about this family, whose name is spelled at least 8 different ways, please let me know. I will be forever grateful. These folks have been very elusive!
