Greetings, At long last (about 3 years), we have Fairview Cemetery posted on the Washington County TNGen Web Page! This is the biggest one so far. Fairview is very old but still a very active cemetery -- in fact they had a burial there today. It is well kept and one of the prettiest cemeteries in the area. Mr. Jones turned 90 last month and has a lot of knowledge under that gray hair. Elaine Cantrell walked every row with me checking and coping markers while I photographed each one. Geraldine Greenwell pitched in and typed Section 3 for us. Then Elaine proofed and helped with the research. Then Margaret Hougland did all the html coding and getting it uploaded on the web page. A lot of people did a lot of work on this one and they are listed at the end of each section. The section numbers are the ones that the Fairview Board uses.
