Good Evening, would anyone on the list clarify something about the Old Dutch Meeting HOuse and cemetery for me. It should be very close to The Cherokee Baptist Church. The historical marker at the corner indicates that the old dutch metting house and cemetery is one an one quarter mile from the sign. My aunt and I measured and looked and looked and looked and never saw hide nor hair of it. Does it still exist ? We were interested in also finding the tombstone buriel place of John Booth as described and pictured in Billy Hugh Camphell. jr.'s book "Down on Cherokee." Could anyone help us clarify and possibly be able to veiw our anscestors' gravesite (John Booth) ,Also ln this road. :Which is located on the Jerry Booth farm.?
