Hi, I was wondering if anyone on the list is researching the Shields families of Washington county? I am looking for the parents of Robert W. Shields. I believe it is possible that two of his brothers are and lived there also, Joseph and John. He is also found in the census with a Walker family. Does anyone have access to the marriage records there? Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Connie

Connie, I have Shields ancestry in Washington County. However, I am currently unaware of any Robert W. Shields. There is no Robert Shields listed in the tax record index from 1778-1850. What time period was your Robert there?
