I have the questionaire from R.R.Bayless, and have now pasted it on my web page. I also have the pension application, and funny thing is that he says he was only married twice. Man can't count for anything. Lately I have wondered if Sarah just died or if she ran off somewhere. I have an ancestor (Sarah Emrich) who's first husband just left due to some kind of political problem he was involved with. She divorced him for desertion and married my ancestor (smart gal) This happened in 1838. In fact I have 2 known divorces just around that time, which doesn't mean much nowadays, but must have raised an eyebrow or two back then. If I ever get to see Sarah Margaret in the hereafter, I'm going to ask a lot of questions. Thanks again for your response.
