In the city of Compton they've been diggin up the graves and putting in new people.. reusing the graves as they say.. The state had to close the cemetary and take it over and clean it up.. of course an investigation is still ongoing... that's why I decided to have both my parents cremated when they passed away for in some places you can not even trust your local cemetaries..which is sad.. When it comes to money some people just really don't care do they.. Sam Bowman Moreno Valley, CA< You can't trust that cremated remains will go where you want them either, however, so please beware. I had my son cremated in 1986, and his ashes disposed of 'outside the Golden Gate', only to find out twelve years later that it MAY not have happened when over 5,000 cremains were found in rented storage lockers. The pilot who was supposed to have released the ashes for disposal [a former Coroner, I might add], later committed suicide rather than face those of us who are still wondering where our loved ones are! My suggestion is that you take possession of the cremains and handle the disposition of them yourself.
