Jean, could you share a little history of Izard Co., AR and that part of the state with the list? We have found the Elijah Hylton (Floyd Co., VA & Washington Co., TN) was out there in 1859 obtaining land. What was happening about that time in AR? Later, Elijah's son Montgomery and a daughter, Sarah Hylton Sams and her family moved to AR. It seems from the discussion on this list, that several families from Washington Co., TN went to AR.
