Hi Sam, I see so many surnames in Izard County, which I have also seen in Washington County, TN. Such as FERGUSON, BALLARD, BOWMAN, COMBS, and so on. It certainly makes one wonder if these folks eventually made the move together. I wish I had more to share on the BOWMANS, as it might be just a matter of a generation or two to connect the two groups.
