Hello Jean, Thank you very much! We have about thirty subscribers to the [email protected] and most of us descend thru John Pitcock married Mary Fisher who moved to Washington Co. Tn around 1793 from Virginia. NO one has been able to document the father of John. There has been debate for years between a Stephen Pitcock or a Thomas Pitcock both in Va. Thomas Pitcock shows up in Washington Co. Tn. during the same period as John Pitcock. We are trying to find out if there are ANY documents or sources that make a connection between John Pitcock and Thomas Pitcock in Washington Co. Tn from around 1790s to 1830s.
