    1. Re: [TNWASHIN] CLICK ......JONES?
    2. Jean, Amanda Click b. abt 1810 Washington Co. TN d. 19 Mar 1893 Madisonville, Monroe Co. TN married 10 Jun 1830 Washington Co. Charles Robert Hartsell. She is the daughter of Henry Jackson Click, Sr & Ruth ____(?). Amanda is a sister to my 2nd great grandfather, William Columbus Click, who also lived in Washington, Cocke & Monroe counties. Here is some info I have on Margaret Peggy Jones who married George Lewis Click: Marriage bond written 3 Aug 1808 Washington Co. Tenn. Martin Click and Malachi Click, both of Greene Co. Tenn signed the marriage bond as securities. His marriage to Peggy Jones of Washington County took place 28 Aug 1808 Washington Co. Information taken from Peggy Jones Click's application for bounty land, application written 28 Sept 1850 Cocke Co. Tennessee. She was possibly related in some way to the RICHARD JONES who sold 60 acres of land to Peter Click in Washington County, Tennesse on 6 May 1800. Not confirmed. NOTE: PETER CLICK IS ALSO BROTHER OF GEORGE LEWIS CLICK & HENRY JACKSON CLICK, SR PENSION FILE WAR 1812 GEORGE LEWIS CLICK She further states that she was married to the said GEORGE CLICK in Greene County Tennessee on the 28th day of August A. D. 1807 by one Esqr. Jones and that her name before said marriage was MARGARETT JONES and that there is nether Bible nor family record of it at this time, that her said husband died at his resident in Cocke Co. on the 30th day of December A. D. 1844 and that she is still a widow. OTHER VARIOUS INFO THAT YOU MIGHT SEE SOME CONNECTIONS SOMEPLACE: DEED BOOK 9 PG 165 17 AUG 1810 This indenture between MARTIN CLICK AND ABRAHAM G'FELLERS, both of Greene County, Tennessee --- consideration $300 --- conveys a tract of land in Greene County on the South side of the Nolichucky River - - Begins at a white oak the second corner on the division line between said MARTIN CLICK AND FRANCIS HUGHES -- containing 200 acres. Jacob Earnest George Jones Martin (x) Click Reg. April Sessions 1811 GREENE CO. TENNESSEE MARRIAGES - MARTIN CLICK POSTED SECURITY FOR THE MARRIAGE OF WILLIAM SKILES AND ELIZABETH MILLER, THE PARENTS OF SUSIE SKILES WHO MARRIED STEPHEN CLICK. (STEPHEN IS THOUGHT TO BE SON OF DAVID CLICK, BROTHER OF MARTIN CLICK, SR) I suspect the possibility that this Elizabeth Miller is related to the Abraham Miller (possibly a sister) who married the Click daughter of Lewis Henry Click, who was mentioned in the deeds as heir. If you have any other questions, let me know. Carolyn
