Hello All, I am trying to find where 50 acres of land that John Gillis owned is located. The description is :land in Washington Co.on the Mill Fork of Limestone forming James Allisons and John Gillilands land begginings...the land was purchased from Micheal Harrison.There are two Limestones big and little but were there two Mill Forks?Does Mill Fork mean where a mill was built at the fork of the river or does it have an other meaning.This transaction took place in 1798.I hope someone can help. Has anyone put together land maps that show these early settlers and where they lived?The Watagua Grants are to early for me.Connie Kelly
