Or at least some of them. my line is Jane Campbell b. 1740 m Benjamin Jamison and had; among others Ann Jamison b., 1770 d. 30 Jul 1840 m. 25 Feb 1790 Greene Co., Tn. John Williams. John Williams and Ann Jamison had among others John L. Williams b. 1 Oct 1795 m. Susannah R. Seehorn. She was the dau of James Seehorn and Agnes Nancy McWhirter. How was Nancy McWhirter related to Susanna Rosel McWhirter? How was Jane Campbell related to Hugh Campbell? there is a letter posted on the Washington County web page from Edward R. Carson (washington County, Tn.)(note below that he was married to Margaret Campbell, dau of Hugh Campbell) to James Seehorn in Iowa City, Iowa where he mentions the death of Nancy Haws wife of John Haws. James Seehorn is a brother to the above Susannah R. Seehorn. John Locke Williams, Jr. son of Susannah R. Seehorn and John Locke Williams, Sr. also moved to Iowa and settled in North English, Iowa. So all of these families are related thru marriages, but I have not been able to connect this Campbell/McWhirter family to my McWhirters. For Jim, There are other Haws mentioned in land records of the Williams in Washington County, Tn. I do not know how they are related to the John Haws husband of Nancy Campbell who had John Smith Haws. In the letter it says John Haws, Sr. m. 5 weeks after the death of his wife Nancy (which would be Nancy Campbell Haws) In marriage records he m. 13 Oct 1840 R. Hail.
