Mr. Murphy, may I ask, would it be more work for you personally if the list were changed to meet the wishes of the list members, or is there another reason? I respectfully disagree with your "party line" reasoning. The message that you forwarded to the list from "T. Roberts" is a prime example of how our request might better suit the needs of the list members. When this person hit REPLY, his message would have gone to the list rather than only to you..... The information this person wished to present to the list may be of use to another researcher. You obviously saw that possibility and forwareded the message to the list. I understand that you are adamant about not changing the list, and that's a blatant misuse of your authority as the list administrator. It seems to me that the administrator should adhear to the wishes of the people that he or she is supposed to be trying to serve! You obviously don't care about what we want.
