Bob, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you had asked a question. I am not a member or DAR, nor are my sons members of SAR, although we could be admitted under the service of another line. In the case of Jacob Womack, there are no Wills, Bible records or other docs proving direct lineage. I have on file land, court and several early TN records which imply relationship. Apparently implied relationships no longer meets DAR standards. Early applicants must have been admitted under Jacob's service via his dau., Martha Womack Bean. No other descendants can be proven. Beth: SAR is not DAR and to the best of my knowledge, SAR recognizes both Robert Bean and Jacob Womack as we have members under both. If DAR no longr reognizes either, then if an applicant used the DAR Record Copy App, he might have a problem. That being the case, I would order a Record Copy SAR App and roll..... Bob Hughes
