I am looking for surnames of Frost, Roberts, Cornett, Gay, Eversole, Reynolds, Abner and more. I think a discussion list is the greatest thing going to help us find our Ancestors..Nancy Frost Moulton
My Roberts line came into TN from Charlotte Co, Virginia. He married Harriett Cashion in Brunswick Co. VA. We do not find them again till they show up in Giles Co. TN around 1850 or so. William B. was b about 1798 and d. 12 Jan 1892 in Giles Co. TN. Between his two wives he had a total of around 15-16 children. Do you see any connection? The coming from Va to Tn. is right on. My Roberts connection is Sarah Roberts who married Robert Frost. born about 1796. They lived in Hawkins County at the time along the Clinch River near Clinch Mountain. I can not find her parents. or his for positive? Forward we have documented. Most of their children moved to Kentucky and one stayed in Tn. one to Ark and one to Tx. Thank you for responding. --- Original Message ----- From: "T. Nancy, I agree. And, if you put the names you're researching in the subject line you'll increase the chance of getting a response from someone else researching those names.
