If DAR no longr reognizes either, then if an applicant used the DAR Record Copy App, he might have a problem. That being the case, I would order a Record Copy SAR App and roll..... Both had sons named Robert. William's son, Robert Bean m. Rhoda Lane. John's son, Capt. Robert Bean m. Martha Womack, dau. of Maj. Jacob Womack, builder of Ft. Womack and also a committeeman on the Watauga Petition. My line is from Maj. Jacob. Womack .....not thru Bean, but Womack. Capt. Robert Bean died in Marion Co., TN. It is my understanding there's a 1911 DAR marker for him at the Bean-Raulston Cemetery. My question is for Bob Hughes. I have been advised by a DAR applicant in the last six months that DAR no longer recognizes the RW service of Capt. Robert Bean or Maj. Jacob Womack. Does SAR recognize their service?
