Thanks. I'll do the same. We have gone through just about everything in this area about that area of TN that you are referring to. We had always thought that she was born there but just could find nothing to conntect her with the Littles who were there. Almost everywhere that our Turney was there was the same two or three Little families and we are almost sure that she was from one of them but can find nothing that lists any Nancy with any of the families. I'll keep digging. Can't Nancy be a nickname for other names? (Often people used first and middle names interchangeably also.) Were there Little girls of about the correct age, although with other first names, in those families that you could research, with an eye to eliminating them as possibilities for being your Nancy?
