I am a descendent of the Broyles (various spellings), Resers and Yeagers that lived in Washington County in the area around of Limestone beginning in the late 1700s. My 6th great grandfather Solomon Yeager settled in Limestone and moved on to White County in about 1820 turning his land over to his son, Daniel Yeager. Solomon's wife was Daniel married his cousin Susannah Yeager from Kentucky. Both my Yeager Y-DNA and my Yeager mtDNA go back to this couple. These families came from Germany to the colonies in 1717 and settled in what is now Madison County, VA. After a couple generations in VA, I ended up being related to many of these families which seemed to have followed each other out of VA in to Kentucky, Tennessee and on to Missouri where my father grew up in Urbana. I am very interested in what Linda Crawford is researching because of these connections. Corlee Ann Morris
