    3. Hi I'm looking (still) for the wife and parents of Andrew Lilburn. Andrew was originally from Frederick and then Berkeley Virginia (later to become West Virginia). He appears on the rent rolls in Virginia in the 1770s, he served in the revolution under Washington including a stint at Valley Forge. His daughter Nancy married Joseph Booth - their daughter Amanda Booth married John Ault of Knoxville, my gggg-grandfather. There were several other children of Andrews's including Jonas who married Mary Hartsell; Asbury who married Sarah Clark; Catherine who married a Willis Debord; Milly who married Wm. Mitchell; Andrew Jr. who married Eufy Walker; Margaret who married Joseph Boyd; Rachel who married a man with the surname of James; and Polly who married Benjamin Early. Andrew got a Revolutionary War pension in his later years before he died in 1839. The only mention of family in the pension application is the statement that "all his children are grown and have left him", no mention of a wife (suppose she was dead) and certainly no mention of any parents. I'd even settle at this point for some of his siblings if he had any because I might find his parents that way. If there is anyone who has any information out there about him that I have not already corresponded with privately (or if I have and you have more recent discoveries) please let me know. I would dearly love to track this man back further. Also, on another note I'm also looking for confirmation that Amanda Booth Ault was really a Booth. In the Knox county marriages she is listed as "Amanda Hainey". The Jamie Ault Grady book on the Aults (my main line) states that this was a clerical error because the clergyman was named Hainey. That may be but I have not found anything else that ties Amanda to Nancy and Joseph - there is suppose to be a letter that some descendant has to prove that Nancy Lilburn lived with John and Amanda Ault in her later years and died there and this letter supposedly makes it clear that she was Amanda's mother, but I have not seen this letter or a transcript of this letter so I really cannot count that as proof until I see it (which I doubt I will since I don't know who has it). Evidently at the time this was enough for DAR to let Jamie in, but the rules are somewhat stricter now and while I can prove my lineage back to Michael Ault (another Rev. War veteran) I want to be able to prove my line back to Andrew Lilburn as well. If anyone can help me I would be most appreciative. Thanks much Suzanne Pratt Surnames: Ault, Boothe, Lilburn, Ramsey, Spickard, Huff, Nelson, Ford, Hampton, Free, Queen, Williams, Thomas, Pratt, Smith, Stanfield
