I am not sure which set of Ross' I am looking for at the moment. My Henry Simpson recieved land from Allen Ross' estate. Allen was a son of William Ross and Rebecca Carter Hardin Ross. William was the son of John Ross from Ireland. Was Chief Ross from that set of Rosses? Somehow Henry was related to them.
