Roseanny Thompson, b. 1778, m. Isham Wood in Cumberland Co. Ky., in 1800. Her uncles were the Skaggs Longhunters, Charles and Henry. There are marriages with Indians in these lines. The Thompsons are my mother's line, but families who were in the same region included my father's Gee-Bugg line; my ggg-grandfather's nephew married a Lankford, whose mother was Cherokee.
