Good Morning, After having not been on this list for a very long time, I will give you my surnames of interest, in hopes that someone will recognize some of them. BACON, Mary C. b. 1807, Washington County, TN. m. Oct 27, 1827 to John Lowry BEDSAUL, b. 1802, Washington County, TN. Mary is believed to be the daughter of Charles BACON, b. before 1790 in TN, died after 1843, Madison County, AR. He m. 1st Uratha HALE, b. Sep 11, 1788, d. Jan 29, 1829, dau of Amon HALE and Mary CARTER. 2nd marriage to: Martha "Patsy" BEAN, b. abt 1803, d. aft. 1860, AR. Connected to these families are such names as CHENOWITH, FORD, and KINCHELOE. * * * * * * * * * * My 2nd family of interest is that of my 2nd gr grandfather, William MAYFIELD, b. 1809, most likely Washington County, TN, d. Izard County, AR. He married Elizabeth WRIGHT, b. 1810, VA, d. June 4, 1882, Izard County, AR. on September 5, 1830, Washington County, TN. I believe that William's father was Charles MAYFIELD, b. 1775, SC, d. Aug. 24, 1864, Greene County, TN. Charles first wife died in Washington County, TN . He married 2nd wife, Lucinda E. McClure, a widow with a six year old son. That marriage took place in Greene County. I also believe that Charles' father was Isham MAYFIELD, and his mother Mary IMBER(?). I still have a lot of documenting to do, but that's where I am right now.
