    3. Hi! I notice that you are researching BEAN. The BEANS are of interest because of their connection to the BACON/HALE family in Washington County, TN. Right now, I am working on my husband's computer because mine had a crash last week and so I don't have my FTM on this computer, but I hope to get my computer up and running with all the programs re-installed sometime this week, so I will be happy to share what I have, once I am able to. Charles BACON, who married 1) Uratha HALE, 2) Martha "Patsy" BEAN, is believed to be the father of my 3rd gr grandmother, Mary C. BACON, b. 1807, Washington County, TN. She is believed to be one of his oldest children by his first marriage. I may be inaccurate, but wasn't Liddy BEAN the sister to Martha, and didn't she move to KY? I am researching connecting families, in hopes of futher information regarding my direct ancestors. I shared a number of wills some time back, taken from a small book called Washington County, TN Wills, ect. (can't recall the author's name, but an unusual one). Your excerpts appear to possibly be from the same book. Jean Cuevas At 05:31 PM 3/28/2000 -0500, you wrote: >Let me start off my saying I do NOT have a book for lookups. 3. Richard, I have just learned that my Henry Simpson's parents died by 1817 as he was orphaned and indentured to a James McPherron, but released in 1818 if he left Greene Co., TN. Have you found any Simpsons that would fit this description. Henry was born in 1806. So the dates of their death would be between 1806 - 1817. 3. HELP ME PLEASE!!!! I am researching Wagner family line. I am trying to find information on my great grandfather Nathaniel Wagner. The only link I have found to him was in 1900 in Johnson Co. TN. He is listed with his wife Serelda and his 3 daughters Callie/Mertie and Margaret and his 2 yr old grandson William Stacy Wagner (Callie's son). I haven't been able to locate them anywhere before or after 1900. There are several other Nathaniel Wagner's in Johnson Co. but I can't link any of them definitely. He possibly migrated to Sullivan Co. area.......and maybe further west in TN past Sullivan. If you run across him anywhere please reply. Thanks, Dana

    3. Mary; There is a chance that my Baker Reece was from AL as there is a marriage record for a Baker Reese in Montgomery in about 1863. 1. [TNWASHIN] Reece/Reace/Reese & Bills of TN
    2. Jerry Johnston
    3. I have sent this to a couple of lists in TN already; but am re-sending it in hopes that someone new is on the line now. I am trying to find information about my great-great-grandparents; Baker Reace and his wife, Sarah Bills Reece. They were married in Weakley Co., in 1868. Baker was born in abt 1835 and died in abt 1874. They had three sons: James Percy L. Reece; William Franklin D. Reece; and my great-grandfather, Paley Baker Bryan Reece. Baker died when the tree he was topping fell on him. I do not know if this happened in TN or in MO; for Sarah and the boys were in Taney Co., MO in 1876, when she married Robert Payne Austin. I would like to find out for sure where the boys were born; where Baker was born, if his full name was also Paley Baker Reece; and where he died & is buried. Basically, anything anyone can help me with from Census, wills, marriage records, death records, cemetery records, etc.; and even newspaper articles will be greatly appreciated. If you are a person who has already tried to help me, as a couple in Weakley Co. have, etc.; thank you very much again & sorry to be a pain! If anyone knows anything about this family, whose name is spelled at least 8 different ways, please let me know. I will be forever grateful. These folks have been very elusive! I have been looking for 25 years! Jerry Johnston
