Hi listers. Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. I can't get on the Warren site, for some reason. Or, if I do make it on, I can't get into anything. Any clues as to what is wrong? Been trying for days. Very slow to even pull up. One of the obits added is important to me. If anyone can get in there, would they be kind enough to send me the info on A.E. "Doc" Grissom's obit. Dear folks, About 6 p.m. the USGenNet server went down. The drive we replaced turned out not to be the problem but rather one of the data drives. Despites Jim's work, we went up and down and finally choked. New parts will need to be purchased or possibly a new server. It might be a good time to consider donating to USGenNet if you have not already done so. In any case, nothing can be done until Monday, then things will have to be shipped, installed and set up. We may be offline for days. We hope to try to restore partial functionality to the "broken" server, at least enough to put up a message that explains that we are temporarily down and perhaps to restore the mailing lists so folks can talk.
