Yes, I may as well wade into a mess for my inaugural post to this list. I'm chasing James CUNNINGHAM, b. 8 Apr 1817 in Grassy Cove, "old" Warren County. In theory, he was the one of ten children, fifth child and second son of David Cunningham, b. ca. 1765 in Pennsylvania, m. 1790 Unity RYAN. I know what happened to James--*boy*, do I know; I have a printed genealogy listing all the several thousand known descendants of his twelve children. (It has to be used with some care, because there are a number of known bloops in it, but it's a helpful jumping-off place.) Because of those twelve children, and because they married all the neighbors in sight, I'm related to approximately half the Texas county where I grew up. But what I *don't* know is anything about James's siblings, other than their names, and I can't go backwards from him much. That's where my questions come in. Does anyone have information regarding this David Cunningham or any of his other children?
