If you can get a tape recorder going, as you ask these questions, you will not only have the information as she states it, you will have her voice on record, as she speaks. My mother is 89 and has been slipping for the past 3/4 years. I had tried to get the oral history from her, as best I can not only for me, but for the generations after me. (Try to get her to respond with their names and not pronouns or nicknames.) Mother would use nicknames. I knew who they were, but my grandchildren would not know the individuals by those names. If she has any pictures label them on the back, as she tells you who the individuals are, and the approximate year they were taken or the event. She maybe the only living person who can identify those individuals. Good Luck.
