I am looking for descendants of any Perry families that were in Warren Co. in the 1850 to 1870 time period. I found my great-grandfather, Charles Perry, shown as 2 years old, in the 1860 Warren Co. census. His father was C.M. Perry-32 and the wife was Martha-28. They had a daughter, Elizabeth-9, a son, James-6, a son, William-4, and a son Charles-2. They lived in McMinnville. They were still in Warren Co. in 1870 and C. M. was named Commadore Perry. Charles Perry married Rebecca Minnick in Rhea Co. in 1876 and was in White Co. Is it possible you could tell me who is S.A. Perry(female) who married George W. Halterman in Warren County, TN.? She either died --maybe in childbirth with first child--just guessing, or perhaps they divorced. George moved to Ballard County, KY, and remarried there.
