Greetings all, Here is a new page showing the population of Warren County, 1810-2000. http://www.tngenweb.org/warren/population.html Note the population decline in the 1840 and 1850 numbers. In 1836 Warren County started loosing land to newly forming counties. Warren also lost the people on that lost land, hence the lower census numbers. If you are trying to place a tract of land that was in Warren County, say in 1830, it may now be part of Warren's neighboring counties. BTW, it is said that in ol' time Tennessee a man could relax in his chair on the porch and watch the county lines march by. Fred Smoot
