Looking for info on family of Edmond & Nancy ELLIS. Edmond came to Warren Co., from Union Co., SC by 1805. He removed to Illinois about 1852 and died there soon after. After Edmond's death the widow Nancy and some of her adult children returned to TN and were listed as residents of Van Buren Co. in 1860. Looking for info on the death and burial of Nancy. Also, did she remarry after Edmond's death. In 1860 census, the widow Nancy ELLIS was aged 60. Her single daughter Nancy E. aged 18 and her sons William aged 35 and James aged 25 were also single and living with her. The next household listed in the census is Edmond and Nancy's married daughter Ann aged 37 and her husband L. CHANDLER aged 50. Also in the household were Mary A. aged 17, Richard aged 15, James aged 4, and L. Dow aged 1. Would like to contact descendents of this family.
