My g. grandfather, Alexander Samuel Moon b. 1814 in TN. I have been told in Cannon Co. I know there was no Cannon Co. until 1836, but I have noticed several Moons in Warren County around that time. Am trying to establish parents of Alexander Samuel Moon, I know Britton Moon had a son Alexander born a little after that time but some of the other Moons had sons born about the same time but the sons were not named, just numbered. If anyone has any knowledge of these early to mid 1800's Moons from Middle Tennessee I would like to exchange information.
