He is mentioned in Hale's History as one of the "big" men of the county. He was born 1831 TN, married Martha TURNER 1858 DeKalb Co. Is in the 1850 DeKalb co Census in the household of Elizabeth WOODSIDE. I believe this may be his mother. Also listed in the household is a Montelius RICHARDSON, also mentioned in Hales' history. Landon was in Smith 8th Cav CSA, captured and held in Union prison camp at Camp Morton IN. I don't know what happened to Martha, but in Dec 1865 he married Nancy Frances JENNINGS in Wilson co TN. Any information or lead as to Landon's parents would be greatly appreciated. I welcome any suggestions. I have very good reason to believe he was somehow related to Thomas Henry Woodford RICHARDSON born 1821 died abt 1904 DeKalb Co and was married to a WALKER, buried in WALKER Cemetery in DeKalb co.
