Tei, In looking in the book, the Warren County Story, by Eugene Wiseman, the only Gordon family surname's that I find are the following: Diana Gordon Soloman, who appears to have been a prospersous planter and landowner from Franklin County, North Carolina. And, there is a George Gordon listed who had George Gordon's turnpike road near Cumberland Mountain. This was around 1840 according to the book. However, it does not list any more information on George. I have also looked in the obituary books that I have and there is no Gordon listed. Hope this helps. Tei, I meant to state that Diana was married to William Soloman. Sorry.
