    1. [TNWARREN] RE: FRANCIS JUSTICE JOHNSON
    2. Gant, Thank you for the information. I have done some research on Thomas Johnson & Mahala Martin, but I have never been able to tie them to my line of Johnson. If memory serves me correctly (and that is always dangerous) I believe he was b. KY and was a minister. The Thomas Johnson you show (1847-1924) as being the husband of Julia Ann Denison, I believe to be incorrect. Julia Ann Denison did marry a Thomas Johnson, but it was Thomas Logan Johnson, b. 20 Nov 1833 in either Warren or Marion Co. TN. Thomas Logan was the son of William Perry Johnson, b. 1808, prob. Warren Co. TN. These records are found in the Rev. John J. Watts records, Vol. 6, Pg. 14 in Missouri. Believe me, I know that Johnson is difficult, at best to track. When I try to search any kind of records, they are everywhere. I would be interested in your thoughts on this marriage of Thomas & Julia. Thank you for responding, I have seen your posts before online. Sincerely, Judy in TX

    3. Since he died in 1924 there should be a death certificate and maybe even a newspaper obit for him. Have you checked into that? I collect what others have sent me, document when possible, but go more in depth for my own lines [of course]. Thanks for any info.
