I am posting this info on several mailing lists to help get info on the children of James and Charity Jones. So you may get this more then once. First is Enoch Jones, who married Elizabeth 'Betsy' Ferrell. I was told that her father was John Ferrell but no name for her mother. Does anyone know her name or who she could be? Enoch Jones was born September 17, 1790, most likely in NC. (Where?) He died February 03, 1878, in Cannon Co, TN. I would love to get a deed for his property if there is one and map it on my deed mapper. It will tell me where that deed property is today. He is buried in the Banks Cumberland Pres. Church Cemetery, Smithville, DeKalb Co, TN. Or consider sponsoring the online memorial for him. I have found him in the census starting in 1820. I do have some holes to fill in and hoping someone could help me. I cannot find the family in the 1810 census, most likely they were in NC at this time or on their way to Tennessee. Anyone know who it is? I am also having a problem with the female under 10 yrs of age. Does anyone know who this is? I believe they should be children of Enoch and Elizabeth Jones. They are still living in the Warren County area. The 4th Unnamed Male listed in the 1820 census, is listed again here as being 20 to 30 yrs of age. I believe at the time of the 1820 census, he was abt 9 yrs of age. The Unnamed Female is also listed on this census as being 15 to 20 yrs of age. This would have made her 5 to 9 yrs of age on the 1820 census. Does anyone know of these children? There is also an older Female listed here are being 40 to 50 yrs of age. Any ideas who she is? The two older children are no longer listed. They should be old enough now to be married and starting their own families. They could be in Warren or Cannon Counties. Now there is another Unnamed Male listed in this census being 10 to 15 yrs of age. Mary Martin is a daughter who married Richard B. Martin September 09, 1850. She is also listed with her husband as being 19 yrs of age.
