    2. I have a family member that the Warren County Census states he was a Pauper and living at the County Farm. Can someone tell me about the County Farm and where were they buried when they died. Which of the cemeteries were for the poor? Where was the Poorhouse located? Helen

    3. One poor house known as the county farm/house is on the Sparta Hwy. & US 70 northeast of McMinnville next to River Park Hospital. It has been restored completely. I'm not sure where the dead were buried. James A. Dillon, our county historian, could tell you about it. His contact information is on the Warren County Site under GENERAL INFORMATION - Warren County Research Helps: http://www.tngennet.org/warren/ http://www.tngennet.org/warren/warhelp.htm Ladye Jane Hunter ----- Original Message ----- From: <SHOKE2253@aol.com> To: <TNWARREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2005 1:11 AM Subject: [TNWARREN] Poor House > I have a family member that the Warren County Census states he was a Pauper > and living at the County Farm.
